Mtravel.com adds Features for Relaunch of its Support Site (1/05/09, Travel Weekly)

MTravel.com, the host agency division of Montrose Travel, has relaunched Agent Connex, adding several new functionalities to the support site for home-based agents.

In addition to an overall redesign, the site has a new menu system and enhanced search capabilities. It also offers personal sales/commission statistics, a commission invoicing and accounting module and an upgraded training calendar that enables agents to RSVP online.

Other improvements on Agent Connex include a social networking section, an industry news section and a database that will house personal logins for a member agent’s favorite supplier sites.

“We’ve always worked closely with our agents to respond to their evolving needs,” said Andi McClure-Mysza, president of MTravel.com. “We’re extremely proud of this industry leading site and believe it will greatly enhance our agent’s efficiency and user experience.” Montrose Travel’s hosting programs are designed for experienced retailers as well as newcomers new to the travel industry, the company said.

Established in 1956, Montrose Travel was purchased by the McClure family in 1972. It posts $110 million in sales.
