Your Own Identity:
You keep your identity, company name, current phone numbers and independence
and are considered a “self-employed” independent contractor for tax
purposes.
Secure Client List:
Because you are an independent contractor, your client list is your
property and will not be used or sold. You control your list and your
marketing.
Strong Commissions:
Share in all upfront leisure supplier commission overrides. Some companies
share commissions based on a 10% base commission, not us. You will enjoy
a full complement of preferred suppliers offering commissions up to
18%.
Technology Driven:

very expensive. Our technology tools are unparalleled in the hosting
industry. From our Private Labeled Consumer Website to our proprietary
dynamic packaging tool (to customize your own air, car, and/or hotel
packages) to the various tools provided for customer trip research and
marketing, you won’t find another host with all we have to offer. We
have also invested heavily in Quality Control processes that automate
much of the reservation process, track unused e-tickets on behalf of
corporate customers, and check for lower fares, better seat assignments,
and upgrade inventory every hour until the day of departure.
Advance Your Travel Education:
Take your education as far as you want to go. We encourage you to attend
our weekly training and product update sessions (non-mandatory) to take
full advantage of our internal resources. You’ll also be eligible to
go on fams.
Preferred Suppliers:
Because of our size and buying power, we have negotiated many of our
preferred supplier arrangements directly with our key suppliers. In
addition, we supplement these suppliers with our membership in Ensemble
Travel, a leisure travel consortium. Montrose Travel is one of the largest
members of Ensemble Travel.
Our exclusive, negotiated commission levels for both airlines
and leisure suppliers will help offset the horrendous profit loss caused
by the airlines.
The majority of our airline partners and leisure suppliers provide certain
programs and commissions that enable us to earn more per transaction than
the average travel agency. We have proven we can beat internet pricing for
both test airline
tickets and cruises.
Group Expertise and Support:
Take advantage of our expertise in finding, negotiating and executing
all types of group travel, from leisure groups to meetings and incentives.
You even retain all the complimentary travel earned and used and can
build in additional mark-ups to increase your profitability. For approved
groups, Montrose Travel will front the deposits (if not covered by your
clients).
Extensive Blocked Cruise Space:
Each year, Montrose Travel blocks and deposits hundreds of special sailings
for you to sell into. We work with a variety of preferred cruise lines
and offer value-added amenities to you for your FIT and group clients
that they normally wouldn’t have access to. This product will give you
the competitive edge that you need to close cruise sales.
Destination Weddings, Honeymoons and Romantic Getaways:
Consider a specialty in destination weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries
and romantic travel and capitalize on of our years of experience. This
is yet another way to differentiate yourself from your competition.
Air Contracts:
Our special contracts and fares are available to help you retain clients
by saving them money and maximize your own profits.
Turnkey Marketing Programs:
Our advertising, marketing and promotional materials are developed and
can be used by you by simply placing your company name in place of Montrose
Travel’s name on anything we have before going to print. And even better
yet, we will pay up to 50% of all your marketing expense for you. Our
leisure marketing tools include a complete self-help marketing support
toolkit including downloadable documents, flyers and promotional pieces
and highly targeted customer blast email capabilities. Our goal is to
guide and assist you where necessary so you don’t have to recreate the
wheel.
Accounting:
Full support includes commission tracking and payments, client and supplier
payment processing, ARC processing, address verification for online
bookings, and credit card merchant processing.
GDS Access:
Galileo (Apollo) is available. No long term contracts. If you’re currently using another system, we can set you up with online tutorials to learn Apollo. Training can be provided at no cost should you wish to take advantage of it.
Save On Your Personal Travel:
Book your personal travel and earn commissions. Take advantage of industry
benefits extended to agents. Apply for your CLIA card, or once you earn
at least $5,000 in annual commissions you may apply for an IATAN card.
Existing IATAN and CLIA cards may be transferred to us.
Recognition:
Just because you maintain your own company identity doesn’t mean you’re
not a part of our family. Each year we offer opportunities to recognize
our successful travel partners including our coveted President’s Club
for top producers. In addition, we throw two excellent Awards Parties
annually!
Agent Support/Back-up:
Dedicated personnel within specific departments are standing by to assist
you when you need help whether you’re in or out of town.
