We love a good travel tradition—almost as much as we love the latest and greatest itineraries to hit the waves. With the new year around the corner, many cruise lines are gearing up for some of the best cruise deals of the year. Here are some itineraries that have us the most excited to set sail in 2018.

Viking Cruises

Since Viking Cruises launched its ocean fleet in 2015, the former rivers-only brand went into overtime churning out incredible new ships. New itinerary “British Isles Explorer” spans five countries including Norway, England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, including overnight stays in Bergen and Greenwich. Sails: May and August 2018 on the brand new Viking Sun.

For the historians in your prospect list, Viking’s “Trade Routes of the Middle Ages” brings the past into the present by tracing the footsteps of medieval voyagers. This 15-day cruise is filled with the sights and sounds of some of Europe’s most enchanting cities, including Amsterdam, Paris, Bruges, Rome, Barcelona and stunning Porto. Sails: April and June 2018 aboard the Viking Star.

Seabourn

Seabourn rises to a new level of luxury with its latest ship, the Seabourn Ovation. One of Ovation’s most exciting upcoming itineraries includes “Holy Land and Arabia,” journeying from ancient Athens to the ultra-chic city of Dubai. Fall under the spell of Crete, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and more, including the “Rose City” of Petra in Jordan—an archaeological masterwork and one of the new seven wonders of the world. Sails: October and November 2018 aboard the Seabourn Ovation.

Disney

No stranger to fairytale castles and cobblestone streets, Disney is stirring up its signature magic in its new port of call: Quebec City. Mouseketeers board in the Big Apple before hitting several new cities, including Baie-Comeau and the emerald green forests of Saguenay. Two full days in Quebec City will allow your North American travelers to enjoy the European charm of Quebec City, all without having to leave the continent. Sails: September 2018 aboard the Disney Magic.

Royal Caribbean

Bigger and better than ever, Royal Caribbean will introduce its new ship, Symphony of the Seas, to its fleet in spring 2018. With more rooms and more crew members to serve your travelers than ever before, Symphony’s new itineraries include sailings to Europe and the Caribbean, with her maiden voyage slated for April 21, 2018. With everything from a 10-story waterslide to a tree-lined Central Park on the water, this ship is perfect for seasoned cruisers looking for the best of the ocean blue.

Celebrity Cruises

Global citizens and soccer fans rejoice! The Celebrity Silhouette (based in Southampton for the first time) will host its 2018 Signature Sailing event with a sailing to the 2018 World Soccer Tournament in St. Petersburg, Russia. Marked by exclusive VIP vantage points, shore excursions and a double overnight in St. Petersburg, this adventure will surely be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So what are you waiting for? Let your travelers know about some of these exciting new cruise itineraries for 2018 before they sell out!
